Maths
In a previous life (2011 to 2014), I was a PhD student in Mathematics, my supervisor was Brita Nucinkis. Having finished it two years ago, I’ve forgotten almost everything. I’m pretty sure I used to describe myself as working in the intersection between algebra and topology, but in reality it was almost all algebraic, I never had the intuition for topology.
Pre-prints from the ArXiv, all are now published:
- Quasi-automorphisms of the infinite rooted 2-edge-coloured binary tree, Groups Geometry and Dynamics, 5 June 2018.
- Bredon-Poincaré Duality Groups, Journal of Group Theory, 13 Jun 2014.
- Cohomological finiteness conditions for Mackey and cohomological Mackey functors, Journal of Algebra, May 14, 2014.
- On the Gorenstein and \( \mathfrak{F} \)-cohomological dimensions, Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Feb 18 2014.
- Centralizers in Houghton’s Groups, Proceedings of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, 13 June 2014.
And here is my thesis, Cohomological Finiteness Properties of Groups.
I’m also on ResearchGate.
